The Mystery of a New Place: Burg vs. Ton

Moving to a new place - where none of us had lived before - felt like embarking on a mysterious space journey (cue up any Star Trek episode in your head). Exciting - in a scary, what-are-we-getting-ourselves-into kind of way.

And I find, in those scary-unknown situations, that more information goes a long way toward less stress (most of the time).

A little research was in order. Here's what I found out when I compared our home base to our home-to-be.

Williamsburg, Virginia and Wilmington, North Carolina have a lot in common - beyond similar

names (try to say them together ten times fast). Both are historical, touristy places. Both are college towns. Both are quaint and scenic.

So, in those ways, moving from one to the other won’t be so crazily foreign. Still, might be wise to know what we’re getting ourselves into. Here are some other interesting stats:

Will bigger be better?

Will will be more worried about the population of people or gators?

And the CRIME?

One thing is certain: our new adventure will give us many mysteries to solve!

“By wisdom a house is built, and by understanding it is established; by knowledge the rooms are filled with all precious and pleasant riches.”
